Tagged!

So I just noticed that I was tagged. I don't know if I know 6 people who have blogs and the three people who do have already been blogged. Do I tag them again? If so, then I tag Ryan Jacobsen, John Kjelstrom, and Patrick Bria. The rules are explain 6 interesting things about yourself then tag 6 other people and leave a comment on their blog to let them know they were tagged. Here it goes:

1. I almost joined the Coast Guard before I decided to go back to BYU-Idaho. I was looking into the Coast Guard Academy, but I didn't have good enough grades to get in. I thought about just straight up joining, but something else was telling me I needed to go back to BYU-Idaho (hmmm...maybe to meet Ryan?).

2. Ryan and I had a honeymoon baby, but I miscarried at 6 weeks. (is there really an explanation needed here?)

3. I have always dreamed of being in a broadway play. I don't have the skills, but I've always thought it was be fun and satisfying to do something like that.

4. I have two more classes left until I get my bachelor's in Accounting!!!!!! WAHOOO!!!!! That's only 10 weeks away!!!!!! I'm not excited at all about this.

5. Right now I am watching Law and Order. (I'm having a hard time thinking of two other interesting things about me).

6. I've lost 10 pounds since the reunion in July. It's been REALLY hard, but I did it. Hopefully I can lose more, but I'm not too sure. I have been working with a personal trainer. I don't think I could have lost the 10 pounds without his help. I don't think it shows that I've lost the weight, but I have....I promise.

On a lighter note, we are really excited for halloween. Even I got a costume!! I'll take pictures! We decorated just a little today. Thought you would like to see. This is the front of our house. The next picture is in front of Jacob's room. (typical Jacob smile!!)

For those who are concerned for us here in California, we have not been in imminent danger from these fires. However, we are surrounded by them. There are two big ones up in the mountains to the East of us, a couple of big ones in San Diego to the South of us, several are to the West of us. The news is saying that the fire in Irvine and San Diego were started by arsenists. They have not been caught yet.
The air quality for us, however, was VERY dangerous on Sunday and Monday. In fact we saw ash falling from the sky on Monday. Tuesday and Yesterday it cleared up a little. Today it is back to being pretty bad. We can't really do anything outside. It's pretty bad.
We are safe and appreciate the concerns. These are just a couple of pictures from msnbc.com. I'm sure there are tons on the web.
