CHAOS (Can't Have Anyone Over Syndrome)

Have you ever had CHAOS (Can't Have Anyone Over Syndrome) in your home? Well I have found that I have that almost daily in my home...except for maybe the day that my monthly housekeeper comes and cleans (which only lasts til the next day). I was feeling like I was just barely keeping my head above water with my household responsibilites. Then just last week I was researching food storage and came across the Prepared LDS Family blog (which is a completely different post) and that blog recommended FLYlady.net for home organization and decluttering.
FLYlady.net was heaven sent. Let me tell you that just by doing the morning routine and evening routine, keeping my sink shining (which only takes 30 seconds), 15 minutes of decluttering a day, and doing the zone missions every day makes a huge difference!! I know it sounds like a lot to do in one day, but it really isn't. For example, the morning routine consists of things that we already do without thinking about it...like showering and getting dressed. However, it does add a couple things that I never would have thought would make such a difference. Here's my morning routine: Get up and take kids to school, Take shower and get dressed - including hair and makeup, swish and swipe bathrooms (takes 2 minutes!!), start load of laundry, look at calendar, unload dishwasher, eat breakfast. Pretty easy....right?
If you seriously need help with decluttering, organizing your home, or just getting back into the swing of things you should check this website out. www.flylady.net It's AWSOME!
